Pride

In June 2024, we planned the first-ever joint event between the West Washington Park Neighborhood Association and the Washington Park East Neighborhood Association came to life at Blackbird of Denver, a beloved local spot known for supporting community events.

Despite an early rain shower, the skies cleared to reveal a rainbow — the perfect backdrop for the Official Wash Park Pride Patio Party. Over 60 neighbors gathered to celebrate with live music from neighborhood bands, Jell-O shots and Vaqit cocktail specials, and the ever-popular Show Your Pride photo booth.

The event was a vibrant, inclusive celebration that brought neighbors together from across the park. With food, music, and community spirit, it set the stage for more collaborations and new traditions in the years ahead.
