Mardi Gras & Mardi Paws in West Wash Park
 

On Fat Tuesday 2025, the spirit of Mardi Gras came alive at Logan & Alameda with the first-ever Mardi Gras & Mardi Paws celebration in West Wash Park. Over 100 neighbors and 15 festive pups joined us for an evening of food, music, and community.

Hosted by Lucile’s Creole Café, the celebration featured gumbo, Hurricanes, and lively entertainment. DJ Mark Anthony kept the energy high alongside dazzling performances from Sassy DeVille, Stephanie Spinelli, and Sophia Nova, while kids enjoyed mask-making and beignets.

​

The furry friends of West Wash Park stole the spotlight in the Mardi Paws Parade, with Oslo, Skippy, and Archie crowned winners. The festivities continued with a second line parade to Leven for the official after party, complete with po’boys and $5 wine specials.

The evening marked the largest Mardi Gras celebration in Denver, right in the heart of West Wash Park. With music, food, community, and plenty of beads, Mardi Gras & Mardi Paws was a true neighborhood party to remember.
