On Friday, June 27, 2025, West Wash Park hosted its first-ever Wash Park Pride, bringing more than 200 attendees together for an afternoon of celebration, community, and inclusion. Held at the lot on Logan & Alameda, the event transformed the space into a vibrant, family-friendly festival with multiple activity zones, performances, and neighborhood energy.

Programming highlights included:

A VIP Beer Garden with Sip Social Denver, Ratio Beerworks, and Corpse Reviver.

Camp Crafts with Camp Indigo Point.

A live DJ set by Mark Anthony and performances from MissFitts Entertainment.

The Doggie Drag Show, sponsored by Washington Park Veterinary Emergency Care, with prizes from The Woofhaus.

Expression for All art-making station with face paininting by Heather's Happy Faces and sponsored by Leven Supply Co

Wellness for All zone, sponsored by Wellness Rhythms and featuring Cairn Counseling and Pivot Barre Studio.

Tasty Treats, sponsored by Nana’s Goodies by Anita, with candy from Sarah O. Jewelry and beverages from Liquid Death.

Guests also connected with nonprofits including Kramerica Gives, Hope & Home, and Washington Park UMC Denver. The evening closed with the official after-party at Fire on the Mountain, where wristband holders enjoyed food, drinks, and Pride specials.

Special appearances by Governor Jared Polis and Councilwoman Flor Alvidrez underscored the importance of the event, which was presented by the West Washington Park Neighborhood Association and sponsored by Denver District 7.

The inaugural Wash Park Pride was more than just a festival—it was a powerful neighborhood celebration of joy, inclusion, and connection. With the support of local businesses, nonprofits, and community members, it set the foundation for a new annual tradition in West Wash Park
