On Friday, June 27, 2025, West Wash Park hosted its first-ever Wash Park Pride, bringing more than 200 attendees together for an afternoon of celebration, community, and inclusion. Held at the lot on Logan & Alameda, the event transformed the space into a vibrant, family-friendly festival with multiple activity zones, performances, and neighborhood energy.

Guests also connected with nonprofits including Kramerica Gives, Hope & Home, and Washington Park UMC Denver. The evening closed with the official after-party at Fire on the Mountain, where wristband holders enjoyed food, drinks, and Pride specials.

Special appearances by Governor Jared Polis and Councilwoman Flor Alvidrez underscored the importance of the event, which was presented by the West Washington Park Neighborhood Association and sponsored by Denver District 7.

The inaugural Wash Park Pride was more than just a festival—it was a powerful neighborhood celebration of joy, inclusion, and connection. With the support of local businesses, nonprofits, and community members, it set the foundation for a new annual tradition in West Wash Park
